Slipstream Vector
Twelve circuits across four worlds — a sunset desert of banded buttes, a golden archipelago, a metropolis racing through a thunderstorm, and a polar ridge under the aurora. Vertical loops, corkscrews, jumps, five weapons, and eight rivals who talk trash over the comms.
No rubber-banding, anywhere. Difficulty only makes the AI drive better — never faster. Catching up is done with slipstream physics that work identically for you and for them. Tuck into a rival's wake and you get the same tow they would.
Time Trial records your best lap as a ghost you can then race against. 31 trophies. Full gamepad support, rebindable controls.
Controls: Arrows/WASD to drive · Shift airbrake · Space fire weapon · R respawn · P pause

Very well made game. Nice responsive controls and good sense of speed.
"responsive" is exactly what I was hoping for and wasn't sure I'd got. The airbrake on Shift is the part I fine-tuned the most; glad it lands.
Hey I think I saw you publish this elsewhere, glad to see you bring it to Itch. My potato chip of a computer can only run it on "low" so thank you for adding different graphic levels.
hat's genuinely good to hear. It picks a tier automatically, but you can lock it in OPTIONS if you'd rather it stopped adjusting. The rule I stuck to was that LOW has to be the same game rendered softer — same scenery, same track detail, just fewer pixels and cheaper post — rather than a stripped-down version. Nice to know it worked on the machine it was written for.
